FAQs
Points expire 5 years from the end of the month in which they are earned. Points will be redeemed on first-earned, first-spent basis.
As many as you want — there is no limit to the number of points you can earn.
You can earn points simply by using your PenFed Pathfinder Rewards Visa® Signature card for all your purchases. All purchases earn points. You will earn additional rewards points for each dollar of eligible purchases in travel categories charged on your PenFed Pathfinder Rewards Visa® Signature card. Honors Advantage members will earn an additional 2.5X points bonus on travel category purchases on top of their current
points (for a total of
points per dollar on travel category purchases). All other cardholders will earn
points bonus on travel category purchases on top of their current
points (for a total of
points per dollar on travel category purchases). To be eligible to participate in the Honors Advantage program, you must qualify through either A. Military service of the primary (active duty, reserve, or retired) or B. Ownership of any existing open or newly established PenFed Credit Union checking account product. (PenCheck Limited accounts are NOT eligible). Member must be primary owner on both credit card and checking account to receive Honors Advantage bonus rewards. Once either of these options are noted, your rewards will automatically rise.

ƚƚTo qualify for the PenFed Honors Advantage Program you must 1) be in an active military service status, a member of the Reserves or National Guard, an honorably discharged U.S. Military Veteran or retired from such service OR 2) the member must be the primary owner on both the credit card and checking accounts of any existing open PenFed product, excluding PenCheck Limited accounts, or open a new Access America Checking or Free Checking account with PenFed. Members with a qualifying Free Checking account must also 1) maintain a minimum $500 daily balance OR 2) set up monthly direct deposits of $500 or more in order to maintain Honors Advantage Eligibility. A minimum balance or direct deposit is not required to maintain a Free Checking account.
