Use your eligible Samsung device to pay with your PenFed credit card in three easy steps:
- Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to launch the app and select your PenFed credit card.
- Secure your transaction by authenticating with your fingerprint or Samsung Pay PIN.
- Hover your device close to the card reader where you’d usually swipe or tap your card. A subtle vibration will signal the payment transmission.

Samsung Pay uses several layers of security to keep your payment information safe. Your actual account number is kept separate and won’t be stored or shared. A Samsung Pay Device Account Number is used instead.

- Sign into your Samsung account.
- Authenticate your account using your fingerprint.
- Add your PenFed card by snapping a photo of your card or by typing in your card information. And . . . done! Your PenFed card is now enrolled!
FAQs
Samsung Pay is now part of Samsung Wallet. You must have a compatible Samsung device in order to use Samsung Pay. For more information on compatible devices go to Samsung Wallet FAQs and look for “Is Samsung Wallet supported on my mobile phone?

All PenFed debit and credit cards are eligible to be used with Samsung Pay. Open the Samsung Wallet app on your device and complete the Samsung Wallet setup if you have not already. Once Samsung Wallet is setup, on the Quick Access tab, click on the “+” icon, select Payment Cards and follow the on-screen instructions.
Yes, there is no charge to use Samsung Pay; however an active mobile data plan is required and depending on your data plan, message and data rates may apply.
Yes, when using Samsung Pay, your PenFed card number isn’t stored on your phone or given to the merchant. The merchant never receives or transmits your actual card number. Samsung Pay replaces your real card number with a unique digital card number or digital account number (token) as a substitute that is used to make purchases in-store and online.
Yes, you can load up to 10 cards to Samsung Pay.
Yes, you’ll still get all the benefits and protections that your credit or debit card provides. If you currently earn rewards on purchases, you’ll continue to earn them for purchases made with Samsung Pay.
If your device is lost or stolen, there a few easy steps you can take right away. You can lock your card anytime within PenFed Online. Log in to your PenFed Online account, click your PenFed credit card account, and under the card image click the button to lock your card and prevent payments from being made. You can lock and unlock your card anytime.

Purchases made with your PenFed credit or debit cards have Visa’s Zero-Liability± Protection for any unauthorized card transactions. This means that you will not pay for any unauthorized transactions.
