PenFed Credit Union Sponsors Inaugural Veterans In Business Awards

TYSONS, Va., May 20, 2019 – PenFed Credit Union, the nation’s second-largest federal credit union, today announced its exclusive sponsorship of the 2019 Washington Business Journal Veterans in Business Awards. The inaugural awards will honor 12 Greater Washington military veteran business leaders and one company for outstanding practices in business and for support of the military community at an awards breakfast Thursday, June 27, 2019.

Retired Army Master Sgt. Cedric King, President and CEO of the PenFed Foundation Speakers Bureau, will be the keynote speaker for the breakfast. King is a paraplegic wounded warrior who transformed himself into a marathon runner, motivational speaker and entrepreneur.
