PenFed Credit Union Opens New Fort Gordon Financial Center

TYSONS, Va., May 20, 2019 – PenFed Credit Union, the nation’s second-largest federal credit union, today announced the opening of a new full-service financial center in Fort Gordon, Ga. The financial center offers a full range of member services including deposit products, loans, live teller services, official checks, notary services and signature guarantees.

“PenFed is proud to serve our many members in the Fort Gordon community,” said Jamie Gayton, Executive Vice President of Operations at PenFed Credit Union. “This new central location offers our members stationed at Fort Gordon both convenience and security. We are thrilled to resume our service to the Fort Gordon community in this new location.”

The new location is the Fort Gordon Post Exchange at 201 3rd Avenue, Building 38200, Suite 189, Fort Gordon, Ga.

The new branch, which has six employees, incorporates an open floor plan with interactive member-teller cash recycler kiosks and community board screens.

Fort Gordon Garrison Commander Col. Jim Clifford and Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Starrett, along with other community leaders, attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the grand opening.

The hours of operation for the Fort Gordon branch are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
