APRIL IS THE MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD
Military life can be stressful for service members and their spouses. It is important to remember that military children can be affected as much as their parents. To pay tribute to military children for their unconditional support of their service-member parents, Connect and Join celebrates April 2008 as the Month of the Military Child. Connect and Join encourages the use of art, crafts, and scrapbooking to serve as a positive outlet for military children, who often experience a variety of emotions during a parent's deployment. to learn more visit www.monthofthemilitarychild.com.
