The USAWOA Awards Program provides a formal program by which the National Board of Directors, Regions and Chapters can recognize outstanding performance or service by individuals or groups. The award year begins July 1st each year and ends June 30th the following year. Nomination packets for the Albert Holcombe Memorial Warrant Officer of the Year and the Virginia Holcombe Spouse of the Year must arrive at the USAWOA Home Office not later than August 15th each year. The Awards Manual authorizes the following awards:

 


 

National Level Awards

Special Awards:

Membership Awards:

Chapter and Community Affairs Awards:

Any member may nominate another member for consideration for the Albert M. Holcombe Memorial Warrant Officer of the Year Award or the Virginia M. Holcombe Memorial Warrant Officer Spouse of the Year Award. Chapter members must forward their nominations through their respective chapters and regions. Members not affiliated with a chapter may submit nominations directly to the National Awards Committee. Nomination forms for the awards are available at the chapter level or at the national office.

 


 

Region Level Awards

Region Individual Awards:

 

Awards have been established to provide regions with a means of recognizing outstanding service by individuals who are members of their region. Awards are authorized for active regions and the European Region is the only active region at this time.

 

Region President's Awards:

Region Chapter Awards:

 

Awards have been established to provide regions with the opportunity to recognize chapters and auxiliaries who have demonstrated outstanding management of a chapter.


 

Chapter Level Awards

 

Chapter awards have been established to provide chapters the means of recognizing the contribution of chapter members who have rendered outstanding support to the chapter.
