Allnatt Scholarship Fund Created

In 2004, the USAWOA Home Office staff was advised that funds had been bequeathed to sponsor annual Scholarships by John and Jean Allnatt. John a long time members of the USAWOA, who has served at all levels of the organization including European Region President and Assistant Vice President for Retired Affairs was a firm believer in the need for formal education and supporting that effort. For several years he made an annual donation to fund a scholarship.
In August 2005, the USAWOA Scholarship Foundation received funding from the John and Jean Allnatt Estate as the probate came to an end and the attorneys serving as the executor distributed the estate. The funding that was received is adequate to fully fund several annual Allnatt Scholarships.
The funds, named the Allnatt Scholarship Fund, were invested in financial instruments that will preserve and protect the principle and allow the utilization of the earnings from these investments to award annual scholarships.
The Foundation Board of Directors was very pleased and honored to accept this funding in honor of a fine warrant officer family and hopes that other individuals, chapters, regions and organizations will lend their support by joining in and sponsoring additional annual scholarships.
