National Awards were presented during the course of the Annual Meeting. Congratulations to the winners. The Awards included:

Flag Streamers for consecutive years serving within USAWOA were awarded to the following Chapters:

5 Year Streamer

  • Wiesbaden (Wiesbaden, GE)
  • Trailblazers (Ft Lawton/Seattle WA)
  • High Plains (Aurora/Denver CO)

20 Year Streamer

  • Frankenstein-Odenwald (Darmstadt GE)

25 Year Streamer

  • Acadiana (Ft Polk/Leesville LA)

30 Year Streamer

  • Show Me (Ft Leonard Wood MO)

The USAWOA Scholarship Foundation Fund Raiser Drawing for Savings Bonds was held - name drawn for the $1,000 Bond was Mr. Kester Lowe of Fayetteville, NC.  Drawn for the $500 Bond was Mr. Charlie Parker and drawn for the $250 Bond was CW5 Brian Callaway. Congratulations to the to and a big "thank you" to all that participated in this important Fund Raiser - see more.

 

The Pentagon Federal Credit Union provided a $100 traveler's check as a door prize. The winner drawn was CW4 (Ret) Roy Valiant.
